I have a Logitech K400r wireless keyboard with trackpad. Being wireless (not bluetooth) the usb receiver requires connection to the lightning port of my Ipad Air. The apple lightning to usb cable is promoted as a camera adaptor for media transfer but there are many product reviews that mention using it as an OTG cable for other usb peripherals, but I cannot find a definite Yes/No. Can anyone enlighten me further please ?

Edit : I have software version 12.5.3. Just notice reference to version 13.0 for an advertised cable.
