Greeting card boxes

Does anyone know where I can get a pattern to make a 'box' out of greeting cards please? They were made in segments and stitched together. I think they must have been laminated as well.

I can remember making these & light shades at Rally, I think we used to also coat them with something? that used to make the paper appear translucent..

We used to make book covers for the plunket books, they were given to new mums.

much as I think NZ seem to have mirrored Australia in making these baskets and lampshades & I can remember making them in the 60's [as well as items made from burnt match sticks] - it seems that the author doesn't seem to know that NZ even exists..
