I have just updated Windows on my Asus laptop.
All my emails, as in favourite notifications listings, are in Chinese other than the main heading.
All other emails are in English.
My Mac and cellphones notifications are all in English.
I’ve done the usual Goggle search but no luck.
I deleted Gmail and reinstalled but it’s still the same.
Any help would be much appreciated.

What do you mean you deleted Gmail. It's a web based program. Or do you pick up your Gmail mail using a windows based app/program such as Thunderbird or similar.

You can't delete someones company.
Did you delete A)The emails or B)The email program you have installed?

Check language settings,

Change the language you use to see Gmail

Open Gmail. (On the server)
In the top right, click Settings
In the "Language" section, pick a language from the drop-down menu.
At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.

I deleted the email program and did a reboot.
The language was the first thing I looked at.
I’m accessing Gmail now through Goggle Chrome and no issues.
It just seems to be an issue in the email accounts section.
