$922.00 was what we paid recently to buy a house. Didn’t sell anything and no mortgage needed...

Last place we bought the bank gave us $3000 for legal fees. Other banks used to give out TVs or a trip to Fiji. Just to clarify, we were borrowing.

shite, cost me recently $1150 for a legal executive. Like you no mortgage needed. Simple title on a 4 Hr block.

Oops...Sorry everyone, I’ve checked my account and made a mistake, it was $992.00 not $922.00.

that would have been the disbursements - photocopying, coffee, green fees etc.

I've used this Company before and liked how they had their fees on their website, so was able to budget how much to buy/sell etc through them. Was a very smooth and easy transaction going through them too. Gives you a fair idea on what it should cost, even if not going through them.
