1 | Hi, does anyone have a recommendation for (free) tool to open pptx file and save in common form e.g. PDF camac99 - 2021-05-01 17:44:00 |
2 | Libre Office will open it but it's a powerpoint file and that means it can, and is likely to have, multiple different pages which are designed to work as a 'live' presentation. I don't think you'll be able to save it as a pdf. Why do you want to do that ? Edited by nice_lady at 5:47 pm, Sat 1 May nice_lady - 2021-05-01 17:46:00 |

Google can give confusing results and too much info sometimes. It can be easier to come to a forum and ask real people. nice_lady - 2021-05-01 17:54:00 |

6 | Well you've seen what I wrote on attempting to convert a Power point presentation into a pdf. TBH it's going to be difficult and it'll destroy the presentation factor. At best you'd get a series of individual pages. Which given the nature of the source material may be basically useless. Essentially it's not going to work. 7 | It would be easier to put all the individual pages into A GIF. And that won't be easy at all. nice_lady - 2021-05-01 18:43:00 |

9 | LibreOffice Impress will open .pptx files and export .pdf files (with a range of options which you can mostly ignore). You will just get a series of pages, but you are right that most people should be able to read it. Animated gif file? Google lists a number of options in various programs and online services. PowerPoint in Office 365 will export directly as an animated gif apparently. emmerson1 - 2021-05-02 20:59:00 |
