For some reason (due to my ignorance- with anything technology related) I have 2 face book accounts and it drives me nuts having to go from one to the other. One of them I no longer wish to use, but how can I delete it, I tried so many different ways, even google and u tube, but still not getting anywhere.

I just tried this and it works although I didn't actually delete my account.

How do I permanently delete my account?
Before deleting your account, you may want to log in and download a copy of your information (like your photos and posts) from Facebook, and a copy of your Oculus information if you use your Facebook account to log in to Oculus. After your account has been deleted, you won't be able to retrieve anything you've added.

To permanently delete your account:

Click in the top right of Facebook.
Select Settings & Privacy, then click Settings.
Click Your Facebook Information in the left column.
Click Deactivation and Deletion.
Choose Permanently Delete Account, then click Continue to Account Deletion.
Click Delete Account, enter your password and then click Continue.

I got as far as the settings page and the info on the left column but there is no de-activation deletion button.
