1 | Can someone in the know tell me when is notice officially given to tenants in a house that is sold? I'm unsure on whether it is once the buyers have decided to buy it or once a sale is completed (ie money handed over etc etc). Thanks in advance. ms_lanfear - 2020-12-18 17:28:00 |

3 | Some houses are sold with standing tenants... maybe there will be no notice. bryalea - 2020-12-18 17:52:00 |

If a periodic tenancy once unconditional (not when the buyers have decided to buy). If a fixed term tenancy there is no notice period. Edited by johnston at 5:58 pm, Fri 18 Dec johnston - 2020-12-18 17:57:00 |
5 | Watch for agents and others being caught out from now with the new notice periods too. johnston - 2020-12-18 17:59:00 |
