| In a fit of (?!#?) I accidentaly removed the DATA from my windows 10 suite from my desktop. Is there ANY known way to retrieve it? johnhb - 2020-11-29 10:05:00 |
| Reinstall your pc from the latest known backup before your fit of rage. sw20 - 2020-11-29 11:19:00 |
| You did what? nice_lady - 2020-11-29 11:35:00 |
| Yes, there certainly is, but we will need a bit more info about what happened first. Make sure the computer is not used any usage will reduce the amount of data to be retrieved. What data did you remove and how did you remove it? tygertung - 2020-11-29 13:07:00 |
| Was it a shortcut to your data? loud_37 - 2020-11-29 17:47:00 |
| If you accidentally deleted them, go to the rubbish bin and restore them back to where they were deleted from. muppet_slayer - 2020-11-29 22:54:00 |

| Incoming post about how they don’t live their life on the internet and still completely ignoring questions asked. sw20 - 2020-11-30 13:56:00 |
| OK, so clone the drive using the DD command in the Linux terminal and then use photorec to carve the deleted files. They won't have the same names, but at least you can recover documents, photos etc. tygertung - 2020-11-30 15:20:00 |
| Sometimes on Windows you can right click and there is a menu which comes up and there is a "restore previous version" option for the folder. Not sure if this is only on enterprise versions which have server backups or on all versions of Windows. I don't use Windows very much. tygertung - 2020-12-03 07:58:00 |
| Try NTFS undelete. tygertung - 2020-12-03 15:54:00 |
| Obviously the OP didn't just lose their data they seem to have lost this thread as well. nice_lady - 2020-12-03 16:37:00 |
