"Tart" beetroot relish

| 1 | I have made the Chelsea Sugar recipe and it tastes very vinegary. I used the grated raw beetroot from New World and wonder if this was the reason it is so tart. I am thinking of heating up again and using more sugar - any other suggestions please? purdie69 - 2020-01-23 15:45:00 |
| 2 | I looked up that recipe and another beetroot and apple relish, it only had 1 cup of vinegar in it, can you cook more grated beetroot in the microwave and then reheat the whole mix and not add any more vinegar? and only a bit of everything else? articferrit - 2020-01-23 17:07:00 |
