Yes, but much easier to use a bowl and a whisk or fork than to get out the liquidiser and clean it after using it to make batter.

Washing , I just put everything in the dishwasher, I would still have to put a bowl and whisk in the dishwasher, I was concerned whether it would aerated the mix too much

Probably wouldn’t aerate enough to be honest - you need a whisk for that

Haha..... I don't have a dishwasher, and my liquidiser is in a low cupboard, so faffing around just getting it out is just too hard for a mix of batter.
