1 | In looking up a grandfather's records who was with the EIC. FIBIS says, "Images of these records are viewable at FMP." The IOR Number is L/MIL/9/188 and should be an applicaiton document. I've looked for this before but it was all a bit allien. Can anyone tell me what to do with the number in FMP before I pay them any money to subscribe. Thanks lots. nerak - 2019-07-31 12:42:00 |

6 | Yes - I've used it a fair bit but could never see where to put thee numbers. It'd be neat to access all sorts of records but where to plant these numbers is a riddle to me. Thanks crab. nerak - 2019-07-31 15:29:00 |
7 | Wow. Look what popped up while I was typing. Thanks loads :) It's that number - the archive ref that is apparently on FMP, that I don't know what to do with. And thanks again for the above! nerak - 2019-07-31 15:32:00 |
8 | The Archive ref will tell you where to find the original document if you want to see it in person. On FMP, you'll just need to search by name and you'll find it like crab2 has. FMP also has a library edition which you might find in your nearest big library? rednicnz - 2019-07-31 18:33:00 |
