| I have found an old bible while sorting thru family estate. I have made inquiries and the bible does not belong to our family. I would love to return it to its family. I'm pretty sure what I've written in the heading is the correct inscription. There is other family history in the back. santos16 - 2019-07-04 11:49:00 |
| Do you have any first names. A maybe - franklinhospice - 2019-07-05 08:50:00 |

| Deleted because I think I'm wrong - does 1953 refer to date of death? daisy86 - 2019-07-05 11:36:00 |
| Wow, thank you so much. Now I just need a family member to claim the bible. santos16 - 2019-07-05 11:37:00 |
| Santos - did you see my first message before I deleted it? What does the 1953 date refer to? The Ethel May Wilkinson Carbs and I found died in 1984. daisy86 - 2019-07-05 11:40:00 |
| 1953 is written using another pen, there's quite a bit of other writing possibly where she was born, ? ? Victoria. Also recorded is the deaths of 2 siblings. 16 Nov 1886 and Nov 14 1887 both died within a day of birth. santos16 - 2019-07-05 11:42:00 |

| I'd love to send you a photo. we think it says Annie Penelope Wilkinson born at Price. santos16 - 2019-07-05 12:22:00 |
| Sorry, I think that was on the wrong tangent as well! This could be her birth though https://my.rio.bdm.vic.gov.au/efamily-history/5d1e941a6d264c daisy86 - 2019-07-05 12:25:00 |

| Yeah, that website is a bit tetchy. It says her parents are Ann Saunders and Thomas Wilkinson and she was born in Malvern. I can't get the exact date of birth but the year is 1894 daisy86 - 2019-07-05 12:32:00 |

I'm working on it! I only have Ancestry so I'm trying to find a tree with the family in it. daisy86 - 2019-07-05 12:49:00 |
| Daisy86, that's incredible, you're amazing. santos16 - 2019-07-05 13:00:00 |
| Sorry Santos, I can't find anything more on Ancestry. If anyone else wants to take up the search, we know: Thomas WILKINSON married Annie/Ann SAUNDERS 24 March 1886 in Morphett Vale South Australia. Thomas' father was Stephen WILKINSON Thomas and Annie had these two babies, both born in South Australia: Annie 1886-1886 Ethel May WILKINSON was born in 1894 in Malvern, Victoria. I can't find any other children born to that couple in either SA or Victoria. I can't see what happened to Ethel May after her birth. Ancestry trees prove that: She did not marry Thomas DATSON in Australia nor George HANCOX in New Zealand. If 1953 is a death date she didn't marry George BUDD in NZ either. 25 | Daisy86, thank you so much for your research very much appreciated. santos16 - 2019-07-05 14:30:00 |
| Santos - where in NZ did you find the bible? Just thought this might help with tracking the family. daisy86 - 2019-07-06 17:35:00 |

| Santos - a break through! Annie Saunders and Thomas Wilkinson were married at the residence of James JARRED. James Jarred is married to Emma Saunders who must surely be Annie's sister. There are several Ancestry trees that feature the JARRED family and Emma but none mention Annie and Thomas Wilkinson and their children. Most of the tree owners haven't been on line for quite sometime but I can contact any one of them if you wish. daisy86 - 2019-07-14 14:58:00 |
| Wonderful, that would be lovely, thank you. santos16 - 2019-07-15 17:40:00 |
