cut the crust off on the side that rolls up, top and bottom crusts won't affect the rolling. have fun. Use fresh white bread too. do you have a good recipe for the filling ?? I think mine starts with using packet onion soup with much less liquid, then cheese.

They look tidier with the crusts off but wasting the delicious crust is crazy. Maybe if someone was getting up there in age and found crusts hard on their mouth, then yes cut them off.

Wheatmeal & wholemeal has grains & they are not good for us, don'tcha know?
But then again so does white bread...we are all gunna die (nothing surer) but
we can choose what we eat to remain active & fit & reasonably healthy or we can indulge ourselves within reason & last another year or three...choices, huh?
