how recent is it, if you know the lawyer contact them and ask to see if you can get a copy...Immediate family (children of parents) always get a copy when the last remaining parent passes away unless the other has also left something to the children.

Where is it? Some documents are unavailable for conservation purposes.

I think Archives have taken access away from any probates that are available on FamilySearch. If it's not coming up in a search on the link provided by nbrob, you can use the reference on Archway to browse for it on FamilySearch. Let us know if you need further help on it!

well when i did 1st search , it said O ,did 2nd search later . there was 1 so going to order... and i found out what a closed record means == a closed record or not available for public viewing means = The restricted access is because of the item being in danger of falling apart. For preservation reasons. so all comes to a nice ending for me thanks all

I would expect the will would be available to read on the above link in my last post. All you need is to join Family Search which is free.

Want to share the name and year of death as it might be a case of browsing the images to get it

That is pretty standard with all probates on there but in most cases you can view and take photo's of it
